Not far away, there’s a great spot for snorkelling and photography, but watch out for the monkeys and avoid getting too close. Island of Khai The trek to the three tiny Khai Islands is brief. Only 10 km separate them and Phuket. Khai Nok has a stunning white beach and crystal-clear blue waters. Feeding the tropical fish is a kid favourite. Out of the three, Khai Nai is the biggest. Swimming and snorkelling are enjoyable in the emerald green, clear waters. And the smallest is Khai Nui. It boasts a vibrant coral reef that’s excellent for diving. A charming little uninhabited island, Rang Yai Island is located around 5 kilometres off the east coast of Phuket. The island is a tiny piece of heaven. It has grown into a sort of little activity centre and is most recognised for its pearl farm. On its eastern side, the island faces Phuket and boasts a stunning, long sandy beach. The water is welcoming and clear. It’s a beautiful beach for swimming.
