Snorkeling and sunbaht at Bamboo Island.
Bamboo Island. a flat beautiful island with white sand and very clear water. Take your time to relaxing on beach, go swimming and snorkeling. There is also a nice coral reef near the beach. Bamboo Island, known as Koh Pai in Thai, is the most north-easterly island of Phi Phi Archipelago in the southern Thai province of Krabi. Lying approximately five kilometres off the northern tip of Koh Phi Phi Don, Bamboo Island is a stunning tropical hotspot that offers the perfect getaway from the crowds.the island is most of the time never too crowded. Measuring roughly 600m wide by 700m long, the island is almost shaped like a heart and is entirely surrounded by a strip of white sand. Its central part is covered with lush vegetation including Casuarinas trees and the Bamboo trees that gave its name to the island. The islands are administratively part of Krabi Province. It is the only island in the group with permanent inhabitants. Like the other islands in the archipelago, Phi Phi Don is a non-volcanic island largely made of limestone. It is almost separated into two islands, but a strand of flat land connects them. The backside of the beach is a rather steep limestone cliff, covered with lush vegetation that offers monkeys a comfortable habitat, which is where it gets its name from. Monkey Beach. Monkey Beach is not only famous for its furry inhabitants. Its other point of interest is that it is a top-notch snorkelling spot. The shallow waters next to it host colourful and vivid underwater habitats, which really gives you the feeling of swimming in an aquarium. Most of the people visiting Monkey Beach brought the bad habit of feeding the monkeys, so they now expect to get something to eat when they see visitors coming. Beware of these wild animals’ behaviour and do not go too close to them. Biting and scratching are common and painful issues and you certainly do not want to have to visit Phi Phi Hospital to get a rabies vaccine during your holiday. |

Loh Sama bay is one of the most famous sites of Koh Phi Phi Leh. have a small islet in the centre of the bay. and a tiny beach at the backside of a small canyon on its northern part. Loh Sama is reputed for its snorkelling and diving opportunities. Snorkellers can enjoy the shallow crystal-clear waters.Coral reefs and colorful fishes.On a good day and you are lucky, you may find blacktip reef sharks. This type of shark is not fierce. Since this entire island is surrounded by limestone walls, very little damaged was sustained by the tsunami. To this day, the island and beaches shine like a precious gem. The cliffs and caves can also provide shelter from the sun and rain. These cliffs are made of magnificent limestone that house several caves. Inside the bay, the Loh Samah Beach has a sandy bottom. this beach can provide the tranquility and serenity of nature, but also the thrills of cliff climbing, snorkeling, and diving. Snorkel and divers can follow the limestone walls right out of the bay where depth can get up to 20m. Viking Cave. sightseeing or snorkelling
Viking Cave is one of the most notable sites on Koh Phi Phi Leh. Located at the bottom of a tall limestone cliff on the northeastern side of the island.Known as Tham Phaya Nak in Thai, Viking Cave owes its name to the paintings found on the eastern southern walls of the cave: they represent various types of boats, including what resembles a Scandinavian drakkar. These paintings are certainly quite recent, and were possibly realised by sailors taking shelter in the cave during a storm. Inside the cave is a concession area. Swallow's bird Nest Collection. We cannot enter the cave.Our boat parked in front of the cave for you to take pictures and see the beauty of the cave.nests which gave them enough power to wait for rescue. The harvest of bird’s nests is rather a risky job: scaffolds are built with bamboo on which the hunters climb in the darkness to collect these precious items.
